PGD U-Line Side Ballistic Plate NIJ Level 4 is a side ballistic plate designed to extend protection to the sides of the torso when used with front and back armor plates. It provides additional coverage for vulnerable areas such as the ribs, kidneys, liver, and other vital organs in high-risk environments.

The plate is built using Monolithic SiC ceramic, featuring a solid ceramic strike face. This construction offers high ballistic resistance while keeping weight low and maintaining strong multi-hit performance.

This model is stand alone, meaning it does not require soft armor backing. The single curve profile improves comfort and better conforms to the side of the body.
